Cosmos Aluminum SA has recently completed, with great success, the process of acquiring 51% of the first Greek manufacturer of AC and DC chargers for electric cars. The promising start up company was in the search for a strategic investor and Cosmos Aluminium had the right credentials to be the ideal partner for the accomplishment of its plans and ambitions. The company, based in Thessaloniki, is an implementation of the idea of two young entrepreneurs, Panagiotis Christodoulou and Charalambos Marmaggelos, who after taking advantage of their previous professional experience, they proceeded with a product that is already characterized by heavy demand and will be an integral part of our daily lives.
With the contribution of COSMOS, MC-Chargers ensures uninterrupted financing but also great support in matters of industrial production, financial organization and exports, areas that the major shareholder knows well and has shown consistency and determination with great success during the years of the financial crisis. It is recalled that COSMOS is an exemplar aluminum extrusion unit throughout Europe and is purely export oriented. The company based in Larissa, is expected to complete in 2021 with total sales that will exceed 42,000 tons and € 150 million.
